Watan Investment & Securities launches Securities operation after linking its systems to the Saudi Stock Market Exchange (Tadawul). With this, Watan Investment fulfills all requirements specified by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) authorization and license which was issued to Watan Investment on April 24, 2008. Now, Watan Investment has the authority to launch all operations it is licensed for; Securities, Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Research and Custody.

Watan Investment’s Chief Executive, Dr. Ihsan Bu-Hulaiga, stated that this final step allows the Company to commence all operations in all investment business lines licensed by the CMA. Watan Investment will be focusing on providing its services through a team of investment profession that rely mainly on innovation and creativity.

Dr. Bu-Hulaiga continued by saying that Watan Investment will start on its products and services for individual and corporate clients with the use of technologically enhancedservice channels, a chain of investment centers and regional offices, toll free-Customer Service Center, and a Central Trading Unit in addition to a self service internet portal and mobile phone applications.
